What Jeff Bezos knows about BUSINESS that most people simply don’t care about, and why this has made him a MEGA BILLIONAIRE
- And it's true, bro.

I’ve made no secret of the fact in the past, and now, that my favorite large company to work with by far in ALL Regards is Amazon.

Recently, their billing department sent me some charges (for a seperate Amazon service I use) that I kinda disputed.

Not totally, but kinda. It was one of those things.

And yet, the nature in which they replied and tried to address my query, combined with the fact it really wasn’t that much – at the end of the day, I just decided to pay it.

In some other cases, maybe I wouldn’t – maybe I’d drag it out a bit.

I didnt “because to me its Amazon”.

This morning I received a package – food delivery, actually from a person that was LESS than courteous.

Nothing direct, but we “in the flow” can feel these things, and as he shoved the bag at me and made as if to get out of the place(as if the plague had infested it!) – it made itself felt – the fact he didnt want to DO his job in the first place.

In ALL My years with Amazon, either online or in person, I have NEVER ONCE had this experience.

Later, I mentioned this experience to my wife, and she “shrugged”.

“So what” she said.

I tried explaining to her the reason I said why I said what I did, and she said she understood, but did she!

Most people wouldn’t.

Or, if they did, they’d just “okay it off” and think “it doesn’t really matter”.

Or, “that company has no competition”.

Or, “low prices are ultimately what customers want”.

Sure, LOW value customers might think this way.

But if you’re looking high value, long term?

Por ejempelo, myself, I wouldn’t even THINK of switching from Amazon to another company either for my books HERE – or my own personal purchases when I make ’em – or any of the other things I do with ’em.

It’s the “feeling”, my friend.

Solid, reliable, and they CARE. Not the usual lip service, but they do truly address what matters ie. customer concerns, and to me, that alone is worth the whole “she bang”.

Sure, there are stories of dissatisfied employees etc at Amazon, complaints about them skimping on tax and so forth.

Find me a large company though without those “issues”, and I’ll eat my non existent hat.

Amazon does many things right, but the reason for Bezos being the resounding success he is today isn’t just vision, visualizaing, HARD Work and persistence above all.

It ain’t that “Amazon has the best deals”.

So do many other sites out there.

It’s their CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The customer, my friend, right down to the delivery people who ALWAYS smile and say thank you etc (I’ve never had one that “felt” directly rude) is KING for Amazon.

Most people don’t know it, but ANYONE with a legit issue can email Jeffs team directly and he’ll look at it!

How many people at that level do you think would even THINK about interacting with the customer???

They once had jeff on a talk show, and a lady came up to him with an item for refund.

Bezos was slightly nonplussed, but hey.

It’s business!

And he accepted the return RIGHT THERE AND THEN!

Many people ask me, including some customers I’ve been chatting with lately “how I find time to chat with them given my prodigous output in all regards, both workwise and workout wise”.

They’re right.

I do a LOT!

But one reason I try and reply to as many people as I can – ESPECIALLY my long term customers is what is mentioned above.

The customer, my friend truly IS KING.

And my mantra of over delivering while underpromising is based on the same Bezos mantra which filters down to the delivery people at Amazon as well.

It’s the little things that count, bro.

Fitness wise, I make sure I mention the little things -such as the tweaks to hand positioning, for instance, that I mention in Gorilla Grip, or the book on pull-ups.

Why I keep telling you that “inches” matter when you’re doing handstand pushups – even QUARTER of an inch for that matter.

And why I carp on FORM So much.

And many other things.

It’s truly “little hinges that swing big doors” -both life wise and fitness wise.

(I read that on another site, not sure which one).

And that, my friend, is the message there.

Do the little things right and be persistent, and the rest usually works out just fine.

BAck soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee
