OK, so first off – what I’m going to talk about here – you guys reading this – please read THIS piece first.

Once you have, well, progressing on from there, and keeping in tune with my mantra of “honest feedback” above all (including to yours truly when needed – that ass kicking I Got from John Walker on my birthday, I will NEVER forget it, I will CHERISH it forever as one of the best, if not THE best gift I got – his challenge, and that motivated me to new levels of health and fitness and ACHIEVEMENT which is evident today) …

… well, a bit of a recap on that – I wasn’t in poor shape – but I was GETTING out of shape – no excuses, and bottom line – John noticed I was slipping from my “bodyweight exercise Guru” high standards, and called me out – and was FAIR about it “with your work ethic I think 2022 will be your best year yet!”

It was – and 2023 is even better, and we’re not even halfway through it!

Thank you sir!

And in line with that I asked “A” for a review anyway.

Here is what he said – part of it –

Hey Rahul,
I will try to write more later as I’m tight on time.
But, there were a lot of things. It started with you calling black people “nikkas” . I looked up the word with that spelling and I realize that word can have different meanings in different countries, but, in America anything close to that sound when referring to black people is going to sound racist. Regardless of intention. And especially from a white male’s voice. But with the different meanings, I looked passed that. You then referred to anyone who disagrees with you as stupid, fat or worse. Every time you mentioned females it was derogatory, even when saying that would could work out too, you still made sure to get your jabs in. You referred to many of your readers as stupid and said their questions were stupid. You refer to anyone who is overweight as fat and lazy, ignoring any kind of health or mental conditions that could be leading to the weight. You stop mid-thought to demean an entire subgroup of people (lgbtq) that have nothing to do with you or what you were talking about.

I’m not trying to be rude. You asked me for these details, Rahul. Do you see how negative this sounds and feels? Do you really want me to leave a review about how this author can’t stop berating his readers for long enough to make a point?

This feels aggressive. I’m mean these words in a very professional way. I am in no way trying to put you down. I think much of what you say is relatable otherwise and you’d have some great stuff if you just left out the negative. And you’d probably gain (and keep) a lot more readers if you shifted your focus that way. It doesn’t all have to be positive and happy go lucky. Just leave out the parts where you may be demeaning other people and you’ve got a solid product.

Those are my feelings, Rahul. You tell me if you’d like them in a review.

And, if you still feel like writing a testimonial and sending it to me, I’d appreciate that.
Actually, I’ve never done that myself. And, if it benefits you I’ll do the same for you. You have been great to work with, despite the end result.

Getting back to work

I wonder if thats enough for the Bozos who keep whining about “he only wants 5 star reviews” and “deletes anything he doesnt agree with”.

First thing you know I can’t delete anything off Amazon anyway – neither would I want to, some monuments to dumbassery MUST STAND – hence Glyn the paedo’s idiotic “Bozo” comments on books he never read and wouldn’t process through his pea brain even if he did – they still remain. (though those comments are abuse, and I could have reported them to Amazon and got them taken down – I mean, think about it – speaking of “womanizing” and stuff – not that Bozo could do any womanizing himself or herself…) …

Anyway – my response –

Hey <chopped>,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Yes, you can write all of that (except maybe in “concise format – hehe”) but do mention the POSITIVES of the book as well – i.e. mention BOTH sides of the story. And when you mention the negatives, be factual i.e. paste the part of the statement which you “took offense” with – so that way, those reading the review have an UNBIASED view of the book i.e they can see the statement, and make their own judgements, which I think is the best and most fair manner my friend.

A review should be an UNBIASED (ideally, at least) review in terms of FACTS – and it should mention BOTH sides of the story. So, perhaps a reader did not like the author’s style – or took offense with the way certain things were explained – but like yor yourself said, the author’s KNOWLEDGE cannot be faulted/debated for the most part and there’s still a lot to learn from it – I think you get my point.

Now emotion, you cannot fake that, by all means put in how YOU felt, but some people just “vilify” the author just to be an ass, and thats the sort of review I call out and mock because those reviews have no factual basis. If a review has FACTUAL basis along with emotion then that review is taken seriously (assuming the reader has half a brain, haha) – and can be debated, and that is the sort of review I want, so yes, be factual, and remove the “anger” (or “distaste”) while writing – that’s all I want, but if that sort of thing might not be possible, I completely understand my friend.

(I mean, this thing is getting so complicated – so if it’s too much trouble to do, no issues – the review isnt THAT important! Haha. I just want to be fair and stick to my mantra of “honest feedback”, so I brought it up).

Let me know if that works, now I understand what you’re saying about using “nikka” as a white male sounding “off” – but it really shouldn’t, haha. First thing you know, black people call each other that all the time (in America) – second, and you can verify this with any black person (again, in the US) “nigger” is racist, yes – “nikka” is not looked upon as such. I realize that can be contentious especially coming from a “white male” as you say, hehe – but remember I’m a “Heinz 57” and have been called everything from Jesus to Habib (the last by black people when I was in school, LOL – all in good fun!) “sandy nikka” my white friend from Italy once called me, and to me it was funny and nothing else .. (Italian origin).

As far as other countries are concerned, a lot of people in other countries have very derogatory thoughts about black people – go to China, you’ll see, perhaps India as well. Its sad, but it is what it is I guess . . . but the word “nikka” is not really that well understood outside North America, best not to use it outside that “area” as it were, as people will likely confuse it with “nigger”.

I dont think you’re being rude at all my friend, I’m extremely thick skinned (though I wasn’t always that way) – the only things I cannot and will not tolerate, and I advocate the death penalty for folks like that – paedophilia (there’s a troll on the site “Glyn” into that – ugh) and (depending upon circumstance) rape. Other than that, I’m probably one of of the most thick skinned folks you’ll meet, no worries there my friend, “I’m a big boy” as they say – and if you dish it out, you should be able to take it FIRST if you get my drift. Haha.

I dont think this (what you’re saying) comes across as aggressive my friend, I asked you – haha – you responded, all good there. Yes, I’ll be happy to do up a testimonial for you if you need it – let me know!

And thats that, my brother – back to it! 🙂

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

And that surely is THAT.

Look for some “fun” coming up shortly. I Can’t wait to sink my teeth into this one – but this guy to be honest and fair is an outstanding citizen, and no matter what he writes (though I suspect he will be UNBIASED in his review) – I will not tear it apart in a Schofield manner – I will respond with LOGIC and facts, which no-one under the sun can debate or doubt.

And thats that.

Back soon!

Best

Rahul Mookerjee

PS – Geez that wheel is taking too long to come full circle!!
