More on Hindu squats vs regular squats (and then biz)

The topic in today’s email, I dont know if I wrote about this before?

I believe I have, plenty of times!

But anyway, I’ve been doing squats as of late – I dont know why.

PLENTY of them, along with training with Indian clubs for my shoulders – and funnily enough, the squat I’m doing these days for high reps isn’t so much the Hindu squat which I absolutely love – which HAS UNPARALLED benefits – and which YOU, the fitness enthusiast NEED to get good at – damn good – if you’re in any way, shape or form serious about fitness.

I’ve mentioned before about when I first started with these, and could barely walk the next few days!

(This was after me climbing hills and all that).

And most of my customers – same thing – especially those that do what I caution against both in the book and videos – overdoing it!

Do NOT overdo these – they will make you sore, very sore!

Anyway, once you get used to Hindus, you’ll notice how GREAT the exercise makes you feel, which is probably the #1 reason I’d recommend it anyway.

Not to mention the way your thighs burn and the upper body and CHEST gets involved.

Like NO other squat out there, truly, and yet, the “other squat”?

The squat done Asian style which I’ve popularized, and with damned good reason in Animal Kingdom Workouts, and the isometric version of it in Isometric and Flexibility Training (again, with damned good reason with regard to the benefits)?

Those are great to do as well, my friend.

And as I’ve been doing these as of late, those tax the muscles at exactly the same “deep” level, but they do so differently than Hindus.

And they tax your hamstrings and butt FAR MORE than Hindus, which focus on butt and calves yes, but thighs for the most part.

Both are great.

Remember, thighs and hips are the biggest muscle groups in your entire body!

So, mix and match.

You might do a 100 Hindus, then pause in the famed isometric for a minute (if you can).

You might do 50 “Asian style squats”, then 25 “jumping” Hindus.

You might do all of it isometrically!

Key is – do both.

They both make you feel DIFFERENT.

And Hindus work the upper body and shoulders and chest a lot more, but the deep burn you get from the other style throughout the legs – well – thats something else too!

You’ll see what I mean when you mix and match as I advocate to ALL.

Now, on another note, folks have (and this is an old question) asked about shipping charges etc.

Again, not applicable, this time because a) it’s sort of built into the price you pay and b)because of what we’ve got set up with Fulfilment etc.

Thing is, most people tack on a shipping/delivery charge, and the question is very reasonable, but for me?

When I pay for something on Amazon, for instance (I’m a Prime member), I dont want any extra charges.

(Jeff Bezos is a visionary and THE MAN!)

I dont care so much if the product is expensive as I do “no other hidden charges”.

So, if you order something for $69.99, then THAT is what it is – NO hidden “sneaky charges” or minimum order quantities or what.

Yes, if we have discounts going on those may and usually do have a minimum order VALUE, but not QUANTITY.

I dont know about you.

(well, I do, hehe)

But I personally, I’d rather have ONE charge “fits all” on my card than see a price first, and have several other tiny charges tacked one, so thats why we’ve got it set up the way it is!

Last, but not least – a huge thank YOU to those of you (and in this case, sometimes I do not know you – as yet!) that have ordered multiple copies of the same book!

The other day, we got in an order for 22 copies of Pushup Central, but it was on Amazon, not this site, so obviously I dont know “who” the person is.

I am not sure if he or she is on the list.

But whoever it is – thank you – and you’ve obviously bought it for your gym or what not, to share with friends, workout buddies etc – all good for me – whoever it is – write back – and let me know – and we’ll have special discounts (future) waiting for YOU and others that do the same thing (and people have been over the years!).

To those reading, if the numbers dont sound “interesting” – well, remember something.

22 or 52 or whatever orders isn’t a big deal, but once the “bulk” orders for ONE book start coming in – THAT there is a serious DOER, my friend!

Last, not not least – remember two things.

For y’all that love it all digital, a SHIP membership gets you access to all digitially forever so long as your membership stays active.

Those of you that have signed up for that can see the “download” button in place of the “buy now” button.

Paperbacks are not covered in that membership of course for obvious reasons (more explained on the sales page for the Ship).

And two, we have got TWO copies remaining for the Collector’s Edition of Fast and Furious Fitness, so those that want in – jump on this NOW, as no, they won’t be offered in this format again.

(I would have probably run out last month – but  apart from a couple of times – I never mentioned it in my daily dispatches as much asI should have. Hey, it happens – but “mistake” (if it was!) rectified NOW! Hehe)

And thats it. Back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee
