“You are the real deal, which is why I don’t mind paying higher than normal prices”
- . . . indeed all about VALUE, not PRICE!

Just got a great, great email in from Charles Mitchell, a long term customer and huge fan of Pushup Central and my other products. Lets take a look –

(This was w.r.t my last email about a dozen no’s eventually turning into a YES!)

Since you’re in the mood for asking,  I’m asking when you’re going to put out a book on static holds like what you talk about in your recent pushups book.  The pushups book is awesome!  Why?  Because the F…ing exercises and workouts are hard as HELL!  That’s why!  I hate workout books that don’t challenge you.  I think I also asked you once before to put out a plyometric calisthenics book as well.  DO IT!  Your stuff is the best.  You are the real deal, which is why I don’t mind paying the higher than normal prices for your books.  I’m also glad that you now put them on Kindle because I have no more room for paper books in my small apartment .

Thanks

Keep up the good work

My response –

Hey Charles

Thanks for the email and the kind words – and that’s some honest feedback for sure!!

Yes, I agree – workout books SHOULD challenge you. It is only when we’re truly challenged that we GROW – – in all aspects, and fitness (and life, of course) is NO exception to that rule. Glad to know the workouts are giving you a lot to work upon – – how are the “fingertip” versions coming along??

Thanks as well with regard to the comments about it being about VALUE and not just a dollar tag – much appreciated, and ‘tis indeed TRUE my friend.

Yes, we have been on Kindle for a while now (and that is why I offer digital versions of all my books on my own website as well. I used to paperback years ago, but switched to digital a long, long time ago . . . ).

And YES, you did ask me – – but I think it was about a book on one armed exercises (one arm pull-ups etc) etc. It’s funny though that you mention plyometrics – advanced (and extreme) plyometrics are part of the reason I’m getting such solid workouts in these days myself! Will certainly put out something on that down the line, and while the book on one armed exercises is ALSO in the works, the one that is currently being “penned” as we speak is the book on ISOMETRIC workouts.

Interesting again that you mention that. I’ve also got something planned for symbiotic workouts if there is enough interest . . .

I’d probably have a lot of this done by now, but (as I’m sure you know) we’ve been grappling with server moves etc  for months now and it’s only settled down in that regard (I finally found a reliable host!). Not to mention my other writing biz which is really starting to take off now as well, so I devote a fair bit of time to that as well.

Thanks again for the great feedback; much appreciated buddy. Stay safe and I’ll keep you (and everyone!) posted on new stuff coming up!

Indeed, my friend. All about VALUE – not price – and yes, the course on isometrics will probably be the next one out. I want to make it something GREAT – something different – so hang tight while I get things together – and we’ll have it out soon.

In the meantime, YES, one armed training is ALSO VERY much on the cards in terms of books . . . and YES, if you have any more ideas for books/courses – shoot me an email, and let me know!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – And yes, all digital now on the website – check it out if you so choose.

A dozen no’s eventually turn into a YES
- . . . if you keep AT IT!

Steve Jobs, the tech icon and founder of Apple (whose phones I’ve never used and never will use, hehe) often spoke about the one thing that seperates the “doers from the dreamers” (in his own words.).

Or should I say “one of the THING(s)” as  I’m sure he spoke tomes on persistence as well . . . (and a quick look at Job’s own life tells you the value of persistence and being ready to stick it out; especially after being fired from the company he FOUNDED!)

But anyway, so when Jobs was 12, he wanted to build a little something, and needed some computer parts to do it.

He called up the co-owner of Hewlett Packard, no less. Remember, Jobs was just 12!

I don’t know from where he got the number, but once he did call him up, here is what he said.

“Hi, I’m Steve Jobs. I’m 12 years old, and in school. I’d like a summer job at your company. Also, I’m looking to build **** and need some spare computer parts. Do you have them?”

As blunt as could be, and as blunt as I am, hehe.

That brings to mind what my buddy from the Marines once laughingly told me when I asked him the following.

“I think Donald Trump is the only that is about as blunt as I am”, I said. “Well . . . maybe he’s even blunter, wouldn’t you say?”

My friend looked at me quizzically.

“Maybe. But it’s by NO MEANS a foregone conclusion!”

And I’m not saying being blunt is the  key to success, although it is one of the keys – – and yes, Jobs was known as exceptionally blunt and abrasive, and hard to get along with.

The key is – if you want something – you ASK.

Did Jobs get what he wanted?

YES. He got the job, and while no, that ain’t the only thing responsible for his eventual success, fact is he wasn’t scared to up and ASK from a young age.

As he once said, I’ve never had people flat out turn me down and say NO when I’ve called them up and asked for something.

Now, was it GUARANTEED he’d get the job?

By no means.

But you have to try my friend. You have to try, try, try and keep trying and taking your best shot until you GET what you’re looking for, and this has held true for me in many areas of life as well when I neeed help.

Financial, advice related or otherwise, I’ve found the “ask, and you shall receive” truism to be TRUE.

Sometimes it takes a lot of no’s and a lot of asking, but eventually, those no’s turn into a YES.

And the same thing applies to fitness my friend.

You may feel you’re not making a lot of progress at all on your workouts when you first start.

Let’s say Hindu squats, or pull-ups.

For ages, you seem to be just pulling “that little bit” and not a lot more than that at all.

Then suddenly, one day, you get your face higher up to the bar without even thinking about it!

Believe me, that’s how it works – has worked, actually, for me and countless others I know.

And before you know it, you’re doing ONE REP. Then two. And the months before when you couldn’t do a single half rep seem to have just . . . disappeared!

Same thing for high rep Hindu squats. The day you get past 100 consecutive Hindu squats or pushups is the day you’ll look back and wonder “was it ever really that hard”?

Weight loss, fitness, I don’t care what it is.

Ask – and DO THE THING – and you shall receive!

It truly is that simple, my friend.

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Here is the System (the best damned one out there) that shows you HOW to ask – and YES, you WILL receive plenty if you do as it says. Oh yes. Grab it right NOW before the price goes UP –https://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

When the facts don’t suit your narrative . . .
- . . . ignoring them won't make them go away!

Over the past coupla days I’ve been posting a lot about the ongoing India China conflict.

Not so much here on the blog or the list but on SOCIAL MEDIA . . . which I normally stay clear of (and I usually try and steer clear of most politics as well). . .

And to those that will no doubt ask me (friends have) – what if you lose business?

Well, to that my answer is so be it.

I am NOT going to censor my views on anything just for the “so called fear” of losing business or money, or sleep (which I don’t lose, hehe), wives, girlfriends, and uh . .. but I best stop there! ?

What you see is truly what you get with Rahul Mookerjee my friend. And if I feel strongly about something, I am damn well going to say it regardless of “where I am currently”.

And to those of you that claim “you feel strongly about some issue”, but “won’t say it for fear of losing business” – – well, I’m sorry to say that you do NOT feel as strongly as you claim to.

Sorry if that offends anyone, but its true.

And if it makes me lose friends, so be it. If you’re really passionate about something, then believe you me, you’ll find a way to SAY it regardless of any other goings on (as I do about fitness, and my other businesses that I have not detailed here ; some of you might very surprised to find out about the other biz! Hehe).

Or maybe not.

Anyway, I posted a long piece about how China’ latest antics couldn’t have possibly come at a worse time for them right HERE – https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6679646701952745472/?commentUrn=urn%3Ali%3Acomment%3A(activity%3A6679646701952745472%2C6679651827052613632)

And about how the Indian government is not only (finally) abdicating it’s silly pacifist stances of yore (which led to the Chinese salami slicing territory bit by bit, for one, brazenly building military installations on foreign land and so forth) in a military sense but also really where it hurts.

ECONOMICS.

The Chinese (despite the hoo haa going on about the size of their military) would not be able to win in a true conflict with the Indian military as things stand today. I’m not going to get into the reasons in THIS email, but if you’re interested, let me know and I’ll expound more on that later.

Let’s talk now though about the ECONOMY.

Even the Chinese know very well that their “rise on the global stage” has come about not just through “copy and paste” (sorry, couldn’t resist!) but also the strength of their economy.

TRUE, the numbers are always inflated, but it’s still a large economy to be sure.

An export driven economy.

And India was one of the last places (if we’re talking big economies) where the country was welcome (at least in an economic sense), and now?

Heck no.

And I posted about that on my LinkedIn account here, to which I got the typical response I expect from wack jobs and nutzos (from whom I’ve been hearing a lot as late).

Inane, retarded comments that make no sense whatsoever.

Comments that studiously and deliberately ignore FACTS placed in front of them.

Comments made deliberately to aggravate, needle and inflame others (sound familiar, anyone?? A certain rogue nation does just THAT) . .

And comments aimed at making the discussion go round and round in circles with NO result out of it.

Sound familiar anyone??

I bet it does . . .

Folks – – when the facts don’t suit your narrative, it might not be pretty (or nice to you), but realize they are called “facts” for a certain reason.

If you truly have the gumption to do so, by all means debate the facts, but IGNORING facts won’t make them go away (and neither will shooting the messenger).

Fitness wise, you ask?

Same damned thing.

If you’ve got a huge ponderous belly hanging over your belly (edit – I meant to say nether regions) and can’t sleep at night despite your numerous weightlifting sessions for one, and can’t do a single pull-up or even HOLD on to the bar for any length of time (rest assured you ain’t alone on that one though!) . . . then trying to sidestep the fact that both of the above is undesirable by saying “I’m a big guy naturally” (when you’re not) and attempting to both convince yourself and sidestep the issue is PATHETIC.

Again, sorry if that offends, but it’s true.

When you want that six pack – or that “cut look” (and lets face it, you wouldn’t be commenting upon it if you didn’t want it! Hehe) then simply saying “So what? I could pick you up and throw you out the window” doesn’t change the fact that YOU my friend are a lardass el supremo, no punches pulled.

These are FACTs.

And I gotta say, if there is anything that annoys me more than the above, it is this type of thing.

Pretty much why I posted what I did on LinkedIn, that being that this comment didn’t deserve a response, but I Responded anyway just to show the world what I meant by “wackjobs”.

And rest assured, there are plenty of other definitions too. All coming up soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – The DEFINITIVE guide (nothing like it on the market out there, trust me) to getting better at pull-ups and QUCK is right here –https://0excusesfitness.com/pull-ups-from-dud-to-stud-within-a-matter-of-weeks/

P.S #2 – Oh and the best damned course on pushups out there is right here – https://0excusesfitness.com/pushup-central/ . I literally do challenge you to find something better than this because guess what – – it DON’T (yes, I said it that way purposely) exist!

P.P.S – And no, I ain’t in the business of “being liked”. If what I have to say causes you to unfollow, delete, or otherwise “block me” then by all means go ahead and do it. Do it NOW in fact. I won’t mind at all – I promise you!

Mini workouts that get results . . .
- . . . throughout the DAY!

Dear Reader,

I’ve been following a split schedule these days in terms of training, with my JUMP rope being at the center of it all.

While I initially tried getting it done (my new workout routine) all in ONE lump “shot”, that left me feeling exhausted and unable to go further (in other words, I got the workout done, but I felt rather exhausted for the rest of the day).

And while I did that for a couple of days and wrote to you about it, I realized that while it was an awesome routine by itself, it wasn’t working in one regard.

Something I MYSELF keep talking about!

That being, FEELING great . . . after the workout!

That “feeling on top of the world” feeling after the work (which I admittedly still got and then some) that LASTS for the entire day (and towards the end of the day, mine was slipping away a bit).

Not to mention everything going on around the world. Has me a bit frazzled due to obvious reasons (and probably you guys as well!).

Wayyyyy too much negative out there.

And so I workout these days, but back to TWICE a day as I did back in 2016, and the results SHOWING.

Some of you might argue, well, they were showing when you did ‘em in ONE blast as well.

Yes.

But I wasn’t feeling as great as I am now, late at night around 11 PM or so as I just got done taking a shower after a second workout (and some time spent with my daughter).

And this two workout a day in 2016?

I’d get my 0 Excuses Fitness routine done sometime around 530 in the  evening, and then later on around 11 PM or so, I’d go for a bit of a bridging routine.

Before bed.

And this time I’m doing jumping rope, pushups, pull-ups and other “secret” jumps I’ve referred to in prior emails – – once a day in the afternoons, and then before bed at night.

And oh boy, do I feel AWESOME!!

The endorphins BE flowing, and this sorta thing is something I recommend to EVERYONE regardless of fitness levels.

Do something every day, my friend – preferably twice a day.

It could be as simple as 10 pushups in the morning and a brisk walk at night.

Or, 100 pull-ups in the morning, and a rope jumping session in the evening.

Or, 3 sets or more of 50 pushups – or pull-ups spread out in corresponding time intervals throughout the day.

Anything, really. So long as you get the blood flowing . . . that is really what counts!

And that’s that for now. If you read this – hope you’re doing well, whichever part of the world you’re in . . . and have a great, great workout today!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

Goose and Gander
- What is good for the goose is indeed good for the gander!

Way back a few years, and yours truly did a job (for a very very brief period) that he would have hated for the most part except for certain students that (thankfully) made it FUN. Hehe. And I’m not gonna get into any more than that. You be the judge . . . ?

But it was the year 2015, I believe, and the international row between China and the Philippines was brewing on the Spratly Islands – a “war” they comfortably won, of course, because no-one would step in to really help the Philippines (the international community all paid lip service, but no-one actually DID anything).

Those were the pre-Trump days, of course, and TODAY it would be a different ball game altogether (yet another reason Trump is by far the best Prez ever, but this ain’t about politics).

Anyway, so there was this group chat dedicated to nothing but teaching.

And though the students were all cool by and large, ONE of the students jumped in with a statement about “Chinese tanks blazing” and a stupid jingoistic (especially when you consider their National Day parade had women in mini skirts parading – I mean, please. I’m ALL for female equality, but is that how battles are won?? Lets get REAL!) “sticker” showing the same.

And guess what.

Although it was a blatant snipe at ALL expats regardless of nationality, although it was off topic, although it was NOT warranted, no-one said a damn thing.

Yours truly was so disgusted that he left the group. Another foreign teacher there kept his mouth shut and just said nothing.

And in general, no-one said anything, and why?

Because . . . um! As the libby libs like to say, how DARE we say anything against China eh?

A country that routinely harasses and bullies it’s neighbors, is well known for its discriminatory and predatory tactics, routinely copies and pillages technology (and more) and so forth . . .

And a county that puts it’s own citizens behind iron bars (those that aren’t brainwashed already that is).

And yet, when the shoe is on the other foot, then they bitch up a STORM over it (as is apparent from the recent India China skirmish).

I normally am reluctant to get into matters such as this as there is always a reasonable viewpoint the other side has (almost always) – but in this case, it boils down to Chinese bullies and the Indians not taking it (and punching them one in the gut a.k.a popping them as the young upstart boxers famously told Balboa’s son in Rocky V).

Pop ‘em like a balloon, and they’ll go away, and much like my daughter popping a much bigger bully in the shoulder (who promptly burst into tears), the SAME damn thing has happened NOW.

And yet, when someone says something, you should see the uproar.

Apparently it’s kosher to attack Donald Trump and the U.S. and it’s allies all day long, but not rogue nations such as Iran, North Korea and China (not to mention its lackey Pakistan).

What is good for the goose is indeed good for the GANDER. Sorry if that pisses anyone off, but its TRUE.

And that, to a large reason was why I posted what I did this morning, but yes, I FEEL strongly on the issue though, which is of course the MAIN reason.

Same thing applies to fitness too.

You have people that are obese themselves calling people that actually EXERCISE (and may be overweight) fat and making statements to the effect of “your belly is hanging over your pants!”

(true story, believe me! ?)

You have people that GET INTO SHAPE – whip themselves into shape – and then when they stop and return some of the negative comments that were made about them when THEY were fat – how dare they huh.

Apparently it’s body shaming then, but it wasn’t when said party body shamed party A . . .

And I shoul dknow, hehe. Again, true story – from the heart as it were!

What is good for the goose is truly good for the gander, my friend, and that is just how it is. Again, sorry if that offends, but it’s TRUE!

And that’s that for now. Here is where you can get the best damned fitness system on the planet which will whip even the most lardiest of lard asses into shape QUICK (goose and gander as well) – https://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – To those that unsubscribed after reading this morning’s blast, a hearty congratulations and THANKS. You’ve just freed up space for those that DO COUNT.

Does jumping rope work the TRICEPS?
- Hell ... YES!

So I can feel the burn. DEFINITELY!

And while I could just tell you yes, as I did in the last post (well, one of the last posts) on the 0 Excuses Fitness site, and while I can almost hear you scoff (how can such a simple girly exercise work the arms eh I hear you say) – well – hear me out.

Ever notice the build of men from not so long ago?

Like even in the 1950’s . . . or before that.

Chances are if you go back about a 100 years or so, you’d be hard pressed to find a FAT person anywhere – man or woman (unless they were royalty or something of that nature).

And chances are the men would be solid and muscular. Especially them Spartan warriors whose coat of armor alone weights a ton (or about it!).

Not to mention the maces and swords they swang, and with deadly ferocity and aim at that – and in the heat of battle like you and I would swing . . . well lets say a jump rope.

And guess what tool these Spartans used to get in shape – and to stay in shape – and to do BEFORE going into war (right before).

If you guessed that it’s the same thing football players of yore, boxers and wrestlers do to start a solid workout off, you’d be right.

That’s right. JUMP ROPE.

And heck yeah, it works the triceps, big time!

I have spoken about how hard it can be to bang out 100 pushups after a SOLID jump rope session (high reps).

And if you’re looking to get those cut yet huge arms . . . think Mike Tyson, or any other martial artist or high level wrestler, tri athlete etc . . . well, this is one way to get ‘em!

And the best and quickest way.

Unless you mix in pull-ups, and as I did that outdoors today, I felt it.

Oh boy.

I felt my triceps working like never before (and this is the guy who banged out 100’s of pull-ups per workout, if you recall!).

And as I completed 50, plus a few patented moves that I teach in the book on pull-ups, I felt my entire body being worked – to the BONE – especially the grip – and triceps.

And upper back.

And all with what I’ve described above.

So yes, jumping rope works the entire body my friend, and if you do it with a weighted rope, so much so the better.

You will quickly find out just why the Spartans amongst others used it as a workout tool!

Last, but not least, remember that while rope jumping is an excellent movement, there are others you need to get good at too to truly “complement everything”.

The kiddie movements I’ve mentioned – by themselves, any ONE of them a workout unto themselves.

The Hindu squats – and the JUMPER squats. Oh boy!

And a few others, mi amigo – not to mention the pushups of course.

All covered in 0 Excuses Fitness – grab your copy today – and start to get in the best shape of your life!

Best,

Sore hips and BUTT
- . . . all from a kiddie workout!

OK, get your mind out of the gutter already . . . hehe.

It ain’t what you’re thinking.

I spoke about yesterday’s solid workout that lasted … I believe around 35 minutes in all, and it left me SPANKED.

So much so that after more than a week of continuous, regular workouts (the NEW workouts I’m on, the NEW routines), I’m wondering whether or not to take a small break this Monday.

Probably won’t happen, and as I write this, I can pretty much feel the workout in my bones as well as the dEEP BREATHING that goes with it.

YES!

When I’ve got a goal, I let NOTHING (or very little) come in the middle of me and my goal my friend.

It’s ALL guns blazing or none at all.

It’s like I had my back against the wall and am fighting for my LIFE.

And this state of mind ,as Napoleon Hill said (and famously illustrated in the story of the General who sent his troops to a war where they had a snowballs chance in hell of “realistically” winning (if even that) and ordered them to BURN their ships as soon as they reached shore – them were the good ole days of floating along by ship for ages, hehe) is ESSENTIAL to continue success at anything.

Fitness, life, you name it.

The men had no choice but to WIN – or PERISH.

They WON.

Last year, I wrote about being a bit of a slacker (not a lot, but every little bit counts!) – on this here business as I focused on another, and my results showed it.

And this year, as I’ve gotten back on the stick (and how!) the results show as well.

And back to fitness, it was yesterday’s workout that left me sore all over, but NOT the adult part.

Yes, you heard me.

It was the KIDDIE part.

My daughter cheated her way through part of it, but as I said, I made every attempt and then some to do the exercises in LETTER PERFECT form, and boy oh boy, was I spanked!

And as I sit here today, sore in my butt, calves, hamstrings and SHOULDERS – I can feel it.

I can feel it in my abs too.

Something I often have after overly intense workouts is my abs “cramping up on me at odd intervals”.

Especially after brutal workouts when all I do is sneeze, or bend over in a certain manner, and it’s pure agony for a while as my abs quite literally CRAMP like never before!

It’s even happened to me on the toilet, hehe.

While on it, I mean . . .

And while I’m not sure if this odd problem afflicts you (if you work out HARD) – if it does, let me know and I’ll let you know how to solve it. It’s quite easy, actually, if you know how . . .

And YES.

That kiddie workout, especially the kiddie JUMPS are what really killed me. Lower back, abs, hips, butt, all on fire now – oh, and my hamstrings too, hehe.

Can’t ask for more from a home based wokout, and especially not for kids! (She did part of it, the rest of the workout was done on my lonesome by yours truly).

And so it goes, my friend.

If your kids are getting FAT and FATTER during the bloody lockdowns, well, HERE is the tonic – https://0excusesfitness.com/kiddie-fitness/

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – And the adult version of that tonic that works amazingly and lighting fast is right HERE – https://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

NO, I am NOT going to wear a mask
- I've had enough of this STUPID panic - AGAIN.

Mask, shask, and so forth . . .

And as I sit here, nigh ROCKED after one of the best workouts in recent times (I’ll give you more detail on that below) – I’m saying it.

YET Again.

I don’t care if it loses me friends.

No, I do NOT care if you on the list say “you’ll never buy a product again” because of what I just said.

I don’t care if friends and family classify me as a bonafide lunatic (nothing new there eh, hehe).

For those wondering, I ain’t referring to my wife here. I’m referring to certain other members of my family that I’m UNFORTUNATE enough to be associated with.

People that are happy enough with the occurrence I’ll detail beneath, and yet bitch up a storm someone so much as talks about putting foot out of the house.

No, they can’t stop yours truly, but . . .

People that pressure my wife not to . . .  anyway, I’ll get to that beneath!

And no, I ain’t in the least bit concerned about businesses or shops not allowing me to enter their promises if they got a mask only policy.

To each his, or her or (in between, hehe) OWN. And this is what I think.

(boy, I can barely type. Break time for my shoulders! Hehe)

(And to those that have threatened me -yes, I’ve received indirect threats for my statements on this – I invite YOU to come put your MONEY where your MOUTH is!!)

Now, those of you on my list are probably saying “ho hum” right about now.

So what, I hear you say.

He’s been saying that forever.

Well, yes, I’ve gone into very gory details on why I do not believe masks are necessary.

I’ve written and ranted at length (and rightfully so) about FEAR being the biggest killer of them all, both for mankind, and everything else.

And I’ve spoken about just how harmful it is in terms of health to stay cooped up all day, both your mental and physical health.

Obesity is one of the biggest killers, if not THE BIGGEST – and by far the biggest contributor to MEDICAL issues, and expensive ones at that!

And I’m not even talking childhood obesity here.

Kids are turning into lard asses as it is these days, and with this scare?

Well, you be the judge!

And as I see my own six year old developing a bit of a pot belly, I’m forced to draw a line/

BIG TIME, and yet again!

Sad (really!) and funny (not) part is this.

Problem easily solved for my kid. Think Kiddie Fitness.

But as I sit here, sweat pooling under the computer table, what about the rest of the kids out there?

Are we happy to doom there to a life of “cooped up obesity” ?

If as adult we choose to BUY into the panic, well and good. Your choice.

But when it comes to kids, and especially my kid – I draw the line.

And 3000 rope jumps, 100 pushups and a mammoth “animal kingom” workout later, I draw the line – yet again.

Amazing how (as I sign off), people cave into pressure huh.

The CDC clearly stated at the start of this mess than masks were NOT required, and yet, a couple of months ago they bowed to public pressure, and said the opposite.

With no good reasons given as far as I can tell.

And that, my dear reader, is really that.

I’m out – more later!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – for home workouts that will get you in the best damned shape of your life without having to leave the house, click here (and yes, they work EVEN if you’re a mask fanatic, hehe) –https://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

P.S #2 – All kudos to the POTUS for doing what he does best ie. STAND HIS DAMN GROUND amidst the current mess in the US (and the BONAFIDE TOMFOOLERY and HOOLIGANISM going on in the name of “protest sho-test”). Way to go, my brother!

Why pushups and rope jumps are the most brutal combo ever
- Its not what you might think! ;)

I wouldn’t be lying to say I almost passed out after today’s workout – or towards the end of it.

Yes, that’s right.

A 25 minute BLAST from Mr. Fitness “el supremo” (I know, hehe) and an unabashedly, unashamedly GREAT workout that would have kicked most of you in the can (again, I know, hehe, I’m nothing if NOT modest at times!) .  .   . and yours truly almost collapsed.

And I could barely pump out 50 pushups today, let alone a 100.

Believe me, getting to THIRTY was a chore – for ME!

So what gives, you ask? The author of Pushup Central – spanked at 30?

Well, here is what I did today.

2000 rope jumps

75 pushups

TWO different kinds of squats for high reps.

And a type of sitting-squatting motion that looks easy – ridiculously so when you see people doing ‘em, but is anything BUT.

And I didn’t do any tough pushup (note – easy for me is usually ASS KICKER for most others – such as the table pushup for instance).

No high reps.

No insane numbers of handstand pushups and pull-ups as I used to do. All I did was five handstand pushups at the end of my routine.

And believe me, I was spanked.

And breathing DEEPLY.

And it’s THIS deep breathing, my friend that made the pushups harder!

Deep breathing done right, as I mention so often in 0Excuses Fitness, is the KEY to supreme health, strength and fitness from the inside out.

It is also the key to that massive, DEEP chest so many of you crave.

Deep breathing, as Martin Farmer Burns, old time wrestler and strongman famously said, made many a weak man strong, and many a sick man well.

Well, well, well.

And deep breathing is what really enlarges the DIAPHRAGM  – which really is responsible for giving you that deep chested look, my friend.

It’s not the external muscles or the look (much like it isn’t about the six pack).

It’s about what lies inside – and BEHIND.

Yes, your heard me.

THAT is the most important . . . and I think I’m going to sign off for now, since I can barely TYPE right now. In fact, I can barely hold up my shoulders, much like during the first boxing workout with Marc the African Silverback gorilla!

Not to mention barely type . ..

Out for now – back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Rope jumping is something I cover in Fast and Furious Fitness – a collectors item if there ever was. Grab it right here –https://0excusesfitness.com/fast-and-furious-fitness/

Like I was run over by a Mack Truck . . .
- Deja vu, eh

You’ll remember that, I’m sure, especially if you’ve been following me for any length of time!

You’ll remember that wayyyy back in the day, the inimitable Miss Lee met me in a mountain park – which was oddly enough, right next door to me, and I hadn’t even noticed it at the time she invited me to do so (funny how it works huh? We often tend to ignore the BEST things that are often right there, right under our very noses . . . )

Napoleon Hill said once that opportunity exists where you are right NOW, and he was right!

Your big opportunity may be where you are right now, this great man once said, and he was SPOT on as always.

Anyway so you’ll remember the toll that first hill climb took on my (at that point) mostly weight trained and UNFIT body.

I’ve written tomes about it before which you can read either on the internet, or on my other site, or by searching THIS site, but here is the reason I bring it up today, years and years later down the road.

Is that this morning – or afternoon, I could barely wake up.

That’s right.

The plan initially was to wake up earlier than my usual 1130 AM rising time, and it ended up being an hour later.

And as I sit here writing this to you on a hot, hot day I feel compelled to tell you this (oh, and it’s 1:20 right now) – I’m SPANKED.

In fact, I’m hammered would be a better way of putting it.

Over the past few days, those of you that have followed my emails know why.

It’s because of the new routine that I’m doing – just to see how it works – a routine where I get in a full body workout – and ESPECIALLY an upper body workout – with nothing other than a jump rope and my own body.

And believe it or not, my friend, my routine right now (the one I’m on NOW, and the one I have NOT revealed as yet, even to those aboard the 0 Excuses Fitness Ship) does NOT involve a a single pushup or pullup.

It doesn’t involve any sort of pushing or pulling motion (at least not as you’d think).

And it does NOT involve advanced bodyweight stuff such as those covered in Advanced Hill Training.

This way of training is something else, my friend.

Quite literally something else altogether, and the point of  me saying this – well – it’s because I’m hammered.

My back feels like it’s been through the grinder. My chest hurts. My abs look ready to pop out right now (and I have not even worked out until now!).

(side note – I WILL work out soon, hehe. As Charles once told me, I can’t understand how you workout in the extreme heat in the late mornings/afternoons – and as I told him, where there is a will, there is a way).

But there is also a REASON. Hehe. There is a reason I love the extreme heat and humidity while training (and believe me, I almost collapsed in a heap out there yesterday, so it was INTENSE!).

And while my thighs, used to daily hill climbs don’t hurt, my BUTT hurts. My calves hurt. Everything else does.

In short – my routine WORKS.

And the reason I haven’t talked more about here?

Well, it’s because everything I do and sell – and advocate – is tried and tested my friend.

I would never, for instance, claim that pushups are the best damn exercise ever and ALL you really need to do – your whole life – if it weren’t true, and if I hadn’t myself DONE the thing and tested it out throughouly before bringing it to you.

I would never ever say what I do about ANY of my fitness techniques – books – courses – or even what I tell you about LIFE – if it weren’t true – and TRIED and TESTED!

That’s right.

This ain’t no arm chair “shmexpert” giving you training advice my friend

It’s real stuff, coming from one that has been well and truly in the trenches, and CONTINUES to do so – and how!

Anyway, this technique I’m using right now is so advanced that even you Advanced Hill Training trainees probably wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of completing even perhaps 10% of it before crying “Uncle”.

And that’s not me putting ya down. It’s me stating a fact.

And good news, you don’t need to go advanced like that if you don’t want to.

Here are the two courses that will give you ALL the fat burning and muscle building the average Joe – or gym trainee will need for their ENTIRE lives (yes, that includes you pumpers and toners as well) –

The 0 Excuses Fitness System

Corrugated Core

Advanced Hill Training (ok, I know I said two, but hey).

Have at!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Oh, and if you’re looking for the best upper body workouts of your life – and build them SHOULDERS as wide as BARN DOORS – well – here are the two courses that will do it –

Shoulders like Boulders

Battletank Shoulders

P.S # 2 – But beware. None of the above is free. So if you’re really not sure about your fitness goals – or if you’ll even DO the thing, then I would NOT advocate you buy ‘em. But if you’re truly in the elite group that is looking to achieve in every sphere of your life, fitness included – well – then – again – have at!
