Take a stance – – a constructive one!
- And stop the endless WHINGING!

Dear Reader,

Todays email is about the HATERS – – and it’s a bit of a lengthy rant – – so – – with that said – – full steam head!

I wrote a few emails back about haters of “Gorilla Grip” (back when I revamped it in 2017 and put it out) – and I wrote about how senseless some of the comments where.

“The information is available for free!”

“The exercises don’t work!”

Free? OK, so why did you even BUY the book to begin with if it’s that readily and freely available?

And second what qualifies you (and I’m talking about the reader who wrote that comment I referred to) to decide if the exercises work or not – without even trying ‘em?

Funnily enough or maybe not given the brain power (Im being polite, hehe) a lot of “haters” have – – the SAME person stated that the exercises DID work for the people I mentioned in the book – -all well known in their own fields …!

I mean, is there any limit to the sheer stupidity?

And in terms of what is going on TODAY with the COVID-19 virus, and the political wrangling that is going on – as well as the extreme polarization of the world, I feel compelled to rant on it again.

And this time, it’s about people that choose to stay in a certain country – and RANT about it galore – so much so that the sheer HATE in their words is nigh evident.

It’s one thing to point out facts, my friend, and it’s quite another to hate. The two are different, but when you build an obsession – – a very unhealthy one at that by connecting the above two – – well- – its time to DO something about it.

For instance, the anti-China brigade that has been getting more and move VOCAL over the years – – and especially now.

Now, before you dismiss me as an apologist or “leftist” – – rest assured I am NONE of the above two – or anything of that nature.

YES, there is VERY GOOD REASON that the anti-China brigade is gaining traction – but that good reason stops with pointing out FACTS in a constructive manner.

Everyone (with half a brain, hehe) knows how the current crisis was first covered up, then mis-managed, numbers mangled or under-reported, et al. That much is common sense actually, or at least it is to me given how things function in the mainland, but funny part is this – a very vocal part of the anti China brigade are those currently IN CHINA … and those that have no plans to leave.

And those that mix in FACT – – with EMOTION – – and HATE- – a recipe for disaster (think what happened before the world wars, for instance!).

Sure, there are some – – a lot, perhaps – – of things NOT good about China – – but on the other hand, there ARE SOME good things as well.

Every coin has two sides, so to speak …

And what I really don’t get it is the people that continue to stay in the nation – – and continue to COMPLAIN about it galore – – as a significant portion of the anti China brigade seems to be (and again, do NOT get me wrong – – I have no vested interests in either side of the argument – – I’m just calling it like I see it).

Napoleon Hill (in Think and Grow Rich) had this to say of those that criticized the capitalistic system that has made America the great power it is TODAY …

“If you don’t like this country – – well – – you have the privilege of CLEARING OUT!”

I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the sum and substance of it, and I AGREE.

At least have the balls to vote with your feet.

And don’t get me wrong.

Everyone likes a good rant every now and then, but when that turns into an unhealthy obsession it becomes completely counter productive to the ORIGINAL reason the rant was supposedly made i.e. to “improve matters”.

Amazingly enough, if you ask these people for constructive suggestions during the current crisis – – you will likely hear CRICKETS – – and that don’t surprise me one bit.

Again, and for the third time I am NOT saying all is well when it isn’t (with certain nations).
What I AM saying is to stick to fact – and to vote with your feet. If you truly don’t like a certain nation – – well – – nothing, not even teaching English for a living is compelling you to stay there – – and that is a FACT, my friend.

And of course, on the other end of the spectrum we have the “all is well” crowd … who are equally laughable, if just for their sheer IGNORANCE of facts (I’ve written about those people before, so I won’t mention it again here – for now, hehe).

Whatever happened to a rational analysis of FACTS – – and compromise – – and then working on finding SOLUTIONS as opposed to needless hankering about problems and “gloating” over said problems (if they don’t affect the individual in person)??

Personally, I will say this much. I came to China in 2003 and have spent the vast majority of my adult life there.

While there are certain things I do NOT like about the place, and have spoken about them in the past, the same holds true for ANY country. Difference in my case always was when it “got to be too much”, I just up and moved to a different country (more on this later, but those familiar with my 2018 move to India KNOW what I’m talking about).

I didn’t just sit there and complain. I followed my heart – took action – and that’s really what I’m trying to say.

Take a stance – – a constructive one, my friend – – in ALL aspects of life – – and you’ll be surprised how things start to “open up for you” once you do so!

Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – In terms of fitness, it’s time to take a stance NOW, my friend. Dare to BREAK OUT of the rank of the chronic complainers, tyre kickers, lookie lous and perennially unfit crowd – NOW. Stand up, and be counted – and take CHARGE of your life – and fitness – TODAY. And the best way to do that fitness wise is to get STARTED TODAY on the BEST DARN fitness system out there – which you can and SHOULD grab right here – – https://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

“It will all be a bad memory”
- A very powerful visualization trick indeed..

So, was browsing through the internet (and yes, I’m back to my “trusty” 4G connection – don’t ask!) – – and saw the following written about the current COVID-019 scare (and that is precisely what it IS as I’ve been saying all along – a SCARE) …

“When it all passes, and it will, this will be nothing more than another bad memory”.

There was MORE, of course, but that was the sum and substance of it, and if there is ONE very powerful VISUAL that I can share with you in these “trying” (so called trying – I personally think most of this “trying” period has been manufactured by our own minds!) times – it is THIS.

Indian actor Rishi Kapoor (he of the “chocolate boy” look way, way back in the day, hehe) made a similar comment on social media a while ago about the lockdown in India.

A country of over a billion people, placed on COMPLETE lockdown … with less than 4 hours notice.

Hmm!

I’ve written about that before as well so I won’t get into it here – – but the point is this – he made this comment “when this passes – and it will – every kid will be GLAD to go back to work”.

“When this passes – and it will – every office worker will be GLAD to return to work!”

And so forth.

BOTH the comments above (all 3, actually) are paraphrased, but they make perfect sense, and tie in perfectly with what I keep yammering about in terms of visualizing the END goal – and the FEELING behind it!

I’ve written about my own trying times (from a personal standpoint) in 2018.

Today, barely two year later (less than it actually!) … I hardly even THINK of those times.

When I do, it’s one of those “bad memories”, but that’s all the attention it gets.

Truly in the grand scheme of things, defeat is TEMPORARY (as Napoleon Hill was fond of saying) – – and for those of you truly ATTUNED to what you really want – – really, really want deep down in your CORE – in EVERY FIBER of your body – with or without knowing it – you KNOW what I mean!

Setbacks WILL occur. You WILL be tested – – multiple times.

As Hill correctly stated in Think and Grow Rich, there seems to be a hidden guardian whose job it is to “guard” the gates of SUCCESS fiercely, and hurdle potential ASPIRANTS over seemingly insurmountable obstacles galore … and problems that seem HUGE at the moment, but in the grand scheme of things aren’t really worth a lot – and actually make SENSE.

Along the way, you’ll also notice small miracles happening – if you are attuned into them – and you SHOULD be grateful for each of these, my friend.

And that’s the best way I can think of to encapsulate the current madness – – but wait – – a final spanner in the works before I bid adios!

My fitness journey – – or rather, the steps I took over the years to get where I’m at now has been anything BUT what most people would consider comfortable.

My routines have been called extreme (though they really aren’t). Madness (waking up at 530 AM Mike Tyson style). “Crazy”( me working out in a torrential downpour – – often times in freezing cold weather).

And so forth.

Yet, if you were to ask me – would I give ANY of that up – or classify it as a bad memory?

Would I classify the time spent chained to the keyboard hammering out novels and fitness courses to be “bad times”?

Heck no – no way – I enjoyed every minute – and that’s how it is when you’re truly attuned into LIFE, and the many MIRACLES it has to offer, my friend … if you only LET it!

And that’s that for now. I’ll be back soon!

Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – The 0 Excuses Fitness System is not only the BEST overall fitness system out there – – it is also the most enjoyable. Believe me, those “trance” like photos in Pushup Central were NOT an aberration. Here is where you can pick it up – – https://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

It felt like I was “breathing fire”
- Quite literally!

So in this last (for now, at least, until I think of some more to share with you!) installment of “trips down memory lane, I’ll share with you another memory of the HILL I climbed daily.

And this time, I’ll share with you a memory that stuck in my mind – quite literally so – even though I only did this particular workout (or should I say, at this time) for a few months.

It was during summer in 2005 in China, and it was HOT back then.

Boy oh boy, I remember the A/C running all day – that was back when we actually HAD four seasons as opposed to the mess things have become NOW …

The sun would literally show up in all its fury starting around 830 or so, and around 11 or thereabouts – – you’d find the parks, and indeed streets etc – – all deserted, so hot was it.

In fact, a short and simple walk – – on plain ground – – would leave you drenched in sweat – – so hot was it outdoors!

And one man – – a “crazy foreign devil”, as the Chinese put it, hehe would step outside to get a workout in.

Yes, a workout. At that time of the day.

I’d start off from home around 11, and I’d reach the park around 11:15. Now bear in mind, the park had trees, as did the hill, but that didn’t necessarily make things easier.

I still remember my rental agent asking me “Isn’t it cooler there in the park with that many trees”?

Well in theory – maybe. In reality – especially when you were exercising out there – NO!

I’d take the steps up .. .and as I’d go up, believe me, it would be painful at times in that heat.

I remember a good friend of mine Rueben once tell me “Be careful! You might get sunstroke out there, or worse!”

And as I’d approach THAT massive, IMPOSING row of STEEP STAIRS I’d speak about so often, it was CRUNCH TIME.

I’d pause a minute.

I’d take a deep breath.

I’d psyche myself up, as if I were preparing for a world lift.

And off I’d go .. UP the stairs and I still remember the ladies that worked in the convenience store (at the time, there was one little bitty store) at the top of the hill, or near it, at any rate giggle as they saw the foreign devil struggle up the stairs from the relative “comfort” of their storefront.

Was it pleasant while I did it?

Heck no.

Was the walk back easier, you ask?

Hell no – – because it was around noon when I made my way back home – – and you have NOT felt “real sun” as yet if you haven’t felt what sub tropical sun at that time felt like, hehe.

It was so hot and muggy that I’d literally feel like I was “breathing in hot coals and fire” with each breath. Literally!

I can still feel the heat in my chest as I type this out, all those years later!!

But it got me in great, great shape – – and again, the feeling of accomplishment when I arrived back home – – well, it was INDESCRIBABLE.

As I turned on the A/C, and took a shower – well – I was AWARE – very AWARE – that it was another great one in the books – done in a style that few would ever think possible, let alone actually DO, hehe.

And that, my friend – is what it’s really all about!

Maybe I’ll write more about the hill in these daily musings. Or maybe I’ll write about my SWIM workouts back in college – that while they didn’t quite get me in the GREAT shape I wanted – DID give me the six pack I wanted back then, hehe.

Stay tuned for that one!

In the meantime, don’t forget to crack off your pushups and squats, my friend – – and if you’re reading this – – well INSPIRATION to do ‘em shouldn’t be an issue whatsoever!

I’ll see you on the “other side”!

Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Here is where you can learn about one exercise that will truly make you the “king of spades” – – or hearts, or diamonds, hehe (NO puns intended!) in terms of upper body POWER – and BRUTE animal like STRENGTH – – all WITHOUT leaving the house. This is a truly an “all in one” exercise, my friend – – and it BEHOOVES you to learn about it – – right here – – https://0excusesfitness.com/shoulders-like-boulders/

“That’s great! Are you in the military?”
- Indeed one of those comments that rang TRUE!

An email or so ago I believe I wrote about a lady I was recently chatting with, and her approach to her (very well planned) day.

Written goals for the day, and all chalked out in terms of TIME (one hour blocks) – she’s a lawyer though, which explains the methodical approach in part.

Mine is different, of course, but that’s not what I want to talk about today!

Years ago, in 2004 I believe (and I said this in my last comm to you as well) I used to hike a hill – – but do so LATE at night.

During a period there even did it at the heat of NOON – when the sun was at it’s ZENITH – and I still remember my heart literally trying to pound its way out of my chest, and it felt like I was “breathing fire” – – quite literally!

Anyway, at that point I worked a full time job from which I’d get home rather late on occasion.

I’d get home at 7 – sip a cup of green tea – which was a change I made back then (I used to drink a ton of coffee when in the U.S., but switched to green tea after being posted to China, and never looked back), and then head on to the hill for my workout.

I’d take the steps up one way – – and I’d take the “long sloping” path down.

This seemed to give me the best workout back then – – note, of course, that was before I started to climb it twice – and then thrice – and then more – at which point it literally stopped being a challenging workout, hehe.

It would be about 9 or so by the time I got back home.

Remember, this hill was a 10-15 walk back and forth, so you gotta factor that in too, along with the 25-30 minutes or so it took to climb the hill, and then the 12-15 it took to descend.

The lights would be on full blast, of course at that time, so there was no need to bring my old trusty Nokia phone along, hehe. Note those were the days before dumbphones were all the rage …

Upon getting back home I’d drink a bottle of water straight up.

Remember, this is Southern China we are referring to, and it was HOT AND HUMID (we actually HAD four seasons back then as opposed to NOW) … and the sweat would POUR off me as I climbed.

In fact I wouldn’t be lying to tell you I was SOAKED in sweat by the end of that hike – all over – as if I had got drenched in a torrential downpour (which often happened too – but that’s another story!).

And then I’d do bear crawls, pushups, pull-ups (I had a chinning bar at home) – – and finally call it a day- – before settling down to a … well, NOT so healthy meal in many regards – – pizza, if I recall right, but I’d have a bit more green tea before that (and beer on occasion as well!).

And that was as real as it got – – and when I mentioned this routine to Brooks Kubik, he of the bench press drug free (was it the other way around, hehe) RECORD – he had this to say.

“That’s great! Are you in the military?”

And shortly thereafter, my workout was featured in his newsletter – – and the rest, as they say, was history, hehe.

So that was my workout back in the day – – and a very pleasant trip down memory lane as well.

Note too that that was the time SARS was spreading like wildfire across the globe, but did we see the PANIC we see today?

Not a chance, my friend. Not a chance, and on that note – and getting back to it – if you have an inspirational workout like this to share with me – – let me know – – and I’ll “return the favor” if I might say so – – and feature YOU in my newsletter all these years later!

And that’s that for now. Be back soon!

Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – A great course to strip away that nasty lard around your midsection is Corrugated Core – and if you don’t have a hill nearby – or aren’t inclined to climb it if you DO – well – no problem. The exercises in THIS course are all you need to “chisel” out that six pack. Go right here to get it – – https://0excusesfitness.com/corrugated-core/

What is the worst that can HAPPEN
- ...the death of FEAR...

In “Think and Grow Rich”, which I believe I mentioned in an e-mail prior to this, I spoke about Napoleon Hill and the pathbreaking book mentioned above – and the circumstances that led to the book being ultimately written – and REVERED – more than a hundred years after the author’s physical demise.

I know, I know. Phsycial demise, and as I hear y’ll commenting upon this – and “shaking your heads” (ah, he’s up to something spriritual again) with the associated mis-spellings, hehe, hear me out!

I’m currently writing this in a darkened room which may in part explain the typos etc – but it’s often something I do when writing to you!

I talk to the INNER self – someone I mentioned in the last email – BEFORE I talk to you, and wacky as that might sound, that is one of the best things YOU TOO can do for yourself, my friend.

But back to the tale huh.

There was a famous general that Hill mentioned in his books that was once ordered to conquer a seemingly unbeatably enemy – that outnumbered them both in force and numbers – and every other way possible.

There was no way that the troops could even imagine of STARTING to defeat said enemy, so “dire” were the difference between the two.

And what did the General do?

Upon embarking upon the shores of the enemy, he ordered them to BURN the ships – burn ALL modes of exit in other words.

The men had no chance.

They either won, or DIED. And win they did, against all odds – AND THIS IS A TRUE STORY!

Cutting off all paths to retreat is key to eventual real success, my friend, and why do I mention this?

Well, the men on those shores were faced with an awful alterative to success … but YOU, both in terms of fitness – and LIFE – are likely NOT!

No-one is holding a gun to your head to SUCCEED other than YOU, my friend (and I mean that you SHOULD be doing that metamorphically).

IN fact chance are excellent and second to none that if someone did give you the choice above – you’d succeed – and HOW!!

And herein lies a very important point.

Whats the worst that can happen?

THIS one question is what YOU need to ask yourself when you have faith – but self doubts creep in regardless.

Perhaps the new venture won’t work out. So what? You have been there before, and it wasn’t the end of the world, was it?

Maybe the new relationship wont work out – so what?

Maybe doing 100 pushups a day, or even 500 won’t get you the sort of shape you want.

Maybe only hiking hills will. So what? What have you got to LOSE by TRYING – and honestly TRYING either endeavor?

Answer me that, my friend and I bet most of you will be UNABLE to answer right off the bat.

I’ll help you out.

The answer is simple – FEAR.

“Do the thing you fear, and the death of fear is certain”.

Sage words indeed written by Emerson who refers to fear as the “carrion of great sagacity” (amongst other things!) – and he is RIGHT.

Do the thing you fear my friend – and one way to GET THERE is to question yourself -what is the worst that can happen?

SUCCESS if you do it RIGHT and stick to your GUNS – and that should be all the motivation you need in order to start getting fit – – NIGH – – NOW!!

Get after it, my friend!

Best
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Oh, forgot to mention that Eat More – Weigh Less is (for whatever reason) flying off the shelves as of late. Maybe the global lockdowns?? I don’t know – but YOU should reserve your copy right NOW – that much I do know!

Do so right here – – https://0excusesfitness.com/eatmore-weighless

Taking that FIRST STEP!
- Is nigh CRUCIAL, my friend!

If you’ve ever wanted to accomplish something – – or have a burning desire to GET someplace – – or do something – – then chances are excellent and second to NONE that (assuming we’re talking about CONSCIOUS desires!) – you have NOT had the amount of FAITH it took to begin – or get past the first hurdle.

This is assuming your conscious is in tune with your subconscious mind though – something that is probably NOT the case with the vast majority of folks out there.

The other day I mentioned the case of my friend who was doing well at a certain biz, and yet inexplicably quit at the very first REAL hurdle, and he’s far from the only one I know!

But he, whether he knows it or not was light years ahead of the vast majority of folk sanyway – because those fine folks, despite all the best intentions they might have – – FAIL TO TAKE THAT FIRST STEP!

Taking that first step requires immense courage, and often times a massive leap of faith.

There have been times in my life I was literally down and out – with nothing to fall back upon. Literally NO-ONE to help me – – with or without strings attached, and the “wolves baying at the door” if you get my drift and no I’m not just talking financially!
In 2018, I went through an immensely trying period in my life in the months of September and October.

That is something most people do NOT know, especially given the fact that my work output didn’t slow (if anything, it increased – there’s a lesson right there, hehe) – – but this was mainly a situation in my personal life – and YES while money was involved, there was MORE to it than just money.

Due to one of those fortunate (some may say “un”) amalgamation of circumstances that I like to refer to, my hand was forced – and I returned to China eventually – despite at the time having NO idea how I’d accomplish the move back, or even when it would happen.
Yet, my hand was forced in a way, and I had NO CHOICE – – and I committed right there and then to move back.

And incredibly, as soon as I did that – – I felt a strange sense of assurance overlap me.
The same “sense” that happened (as I wrote about I believe) back when I had no money (years back) to even keep the business going, let alone put food on the table.

And I cannot recall feeling a greater sense of assurance at the time when most would consider me “down and out for the count”.
On BOTH these occasions, I was required to take the first step – – without knowing if or where it would lead.

A mammoth leap of faith that I did NOT know was warranted – – and yet I KNEW that it WAS!

I do not know if any of you have ever faced such circumstances before, but it is likely that SOME of you have – and know what I am talking about – hopefully!

These circumstances were about as close as I’ve gotten to awakening what Napoleon Hill called the “hidden self” (sorry, the “other self” I believe it was).

Once that “other self” gets activated – well WATCH OUT, my friend – there is literally no POWER on Earth that can stand against it – provided you take the first step!

When I started rahulmookerjee.com YEARS and YEARS ago I had no idea how to market my stuff, and NO idea at all how to build a list – and as for my confidence?

Shot – – and down in the dumps especially in terms of my own thing but incredibly enough, I had FAITH.

I started the website. I put together a book – – a print book which I still have copies of, for a very good reason indeed.

(And copies you too can get if you want – collector’s items if I may, because chances are slim and next to none there will be another “printing” – and slim just left town, hehe – or should I say slim was “quarantined”. Hehe).

And incredibly, my list grew to about 5000 or so members without me really trying. Even more incredibly, I still didn’t have the confidence required to turn it into a full time gig at that point, but that ain’t the point I’m trying to make.

Point I’m trying to make is THIS – when faced with challenges of a nature you consciously CANNOT find a solution to -challenges seemingly SO GREAT that they seem insurmountable – – well – – take the FIRST step, my friend.

For some, that might be getting a website out there.

For others, that might be proceeding according to plan WITHOUT knowing where the funds will come in from. Or, it might mean living for a while on your credit cards without knowing when you’ll be able to pay it back – – or if at all.

Faith, my friend is how mountains are moved – both fitness wise and life wise – and in order to prove you have faith – well – take that first step.

It really IS that simple!

Alright, my friend. I’m out – I’l be back soon!

Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – I took that first step all those years ago on the HILL in 2004, and look where it led. You too, can take that first step, my friend. Do that first pushup. Hold that bridge – even if it’s for a couple of seconds when you first start. Small hinges swing MASSIVE doors, and fitness is no exception to the rule. Start oiling the FITNESS hinge NOW by getting the 0 Excuses Fitness System – right here – http://0excusesfitness.com/0excusesfitnessystem/

That one thing that only YOU can do
- Everyone has an UNIQUE talent!

What I’m going to talk about today might just be one of the most important things you read – both in terms of fitness (the “how’s”) – and life – and goals indeed, so LISTEN – UP!

It’s a well known fact that most folks secretly WANT TO BE more than what they are – NOW.

It’s also equally well known that most people lack the (or I should say, choose to lack the!) persistence and gumption required to finally get there.

Most get swayed by “other’s opinions” – – or what the “experts” think – – or what family and well wishes (believe me now and trust me later, this can be one of the BIGGEST and MOST INSIDUOUS energy drains though it might not seem that way to you!) “want you to do”.

And that’s why I wrote a post about do what you want – not what others want or expect you to do.

That post seems to have pissed more than a few people off as well – – but the DOERS liked the post – so much so that I got responses to that email – – so personal though they were in nature, that I have NOT shared them publicity. Maybe I’ll do so someday, if the OP’s permit!

Now back on point … it’s amazing, but when people set goals – either in terms of life – or fitness – when you ask them the question “What do you want?”, most people cANNOT answer it with any degree of sureity – or clarity – including yours truly for a while too.

What do you want in terms of life, my friend?

And no, “more money” won’t cut it.

Amazingly enough, when you ask these people to specify a FIGURE in terms of what they want, they are unable to.

“Your achievement can only be as definite as the number you fix in your mind”

(That’s a Napoleon Hill or Claude Bristol quote that I have in my mind – – I modified it slightly, but you get my drift).

In terms of fitness, how much flabbage do you want to drop?

How many pull-ups do you want? How many workouts a day do you want to do – and still be BUZZING with energy?

Answer these questions definitely my friend, for they DO have the potential to change the way your fitness – and life – is headed.

And in terms of life, LOTS of people – – especially the “jack of all trades” amongst us (yours truly fits the bill perfectly, hehe) STRUGGLE to figure out what exactly they really, really want to do – better than anyone else out there!

Amazingly enough, most people choose from a long laundry list of “options” that other people of course shoot down and tell them they’re not GOOD at.

Am I saying those options are wrong, or to listen to others?

NO.

NOT AT ALL.

What I am saying here my friend is this – – that usually that ONE THING you’re “made” for – – that you’re really cut out for is something that even your most ardent detractors, either direct or indirect will NEVER (probably not even once in your life) have accused you of “not being able to do”.

And while that might sound nigh amazing, it’s very true my friend.

I’m reminded of another Napoleon Hill quote here from “Outwitting the Devil” (I’m paraphrasing somewhat again, but the gist is the SAME) –
(By the way, that’s a great little book – – and a gem you SHOULD add to your library – – ASAP!)

Hill details jumping from venture to venture in his book, often times venture where he achieves SUCCESS – – and yet not being able to “tie a position down” as it were, be it as an owner – – or employee – – or partner.

Something always happened that caused him to either leave, or resign, or … and start from SCRATCH, and while I ain’t gonna get into details here (that would defeat the point I’m trying to make right NOW) … the point is this … but I’ll quote!

“Learn your lesson once and for all! You have been a stubborn student, trying to find happiness, but you are NOT realizing the fact that your own happiness comes from helping others to find it! Learn this lesson once and for all, and … “

This is paraphrased, and this “revelation” came at a time where Hill was struggling – – with barely a penny (less in fact) to his name despite his numerous past accomplishments.

Sound familiar my friend?? To some of you?

It did to me when I first read it!

And here is the point I’m trying to make – Hill went back to something he had ignored for a while at the time – something that was pretty much his life mission when he first started out – that being to compile the world’s first philosophy of individual achievement (hence “Think and Grow Rich”, another classic, years later).

That was what Hill was good at – and for me, it was always my WRITING, my friend. It was always my writing – -and that is why I have been doing this over the years – – and will continue to do so.

It could inspirational writing in terms of fitness – – or my other ventures – – but for me, that is what I really, really wanted – – and until I fully accepted that fact (and others in my life), I struggled – big time – regardless of everything else.

And that is what you too have to figure out my friend.

What is that ONE thing that you’re good at – – so good that you’re probably better than MOST people out there at it?

It’s there, my friend. It’s there. EVERYONE has that one thing – or perhaps TWO … trick is to find it!

And on that “soul searching” note, I’ll leave you be. Back again later!

Best,

P.S. – In terms of fitness, affix in your mind what exactly you want. Big guns? Six pack? Massive thighs? No problem – we got you covered on all bases, but you need to build a solid foundation first, my friend. Much like a skyscraper will come tumbling down without a base … so will those big guns be USELESS without a proper BASE – or back, hehe, to “back it up – pun intended!
Build – start building that – base right here.

Have curd – will CRAP!

This post was written on  a mobile phone and uploaded using a very wonky 4G connection. Enjoy! (and yes, those are PART of the joys of wifi conking out unexpectedly, hehe).

Before you dismiss me (yet again) as being a certifiable lunatic (what else is new huh, hehe) – it might be worth mentioning that what I’m going to say – has merit – immense merit – if you just allow me a few minutes of your time.

NOT to “take a crap” as it were. To SAY what I’m saying … and without further ado, lets jump straight into it.

Constpiation, or being “blocked” – big time – is a problem with most (or the majority of folks out there) again BIG time. And lest you think this problem occurs only to those of you couch potatoes and sedentary “pigs” (as the Chinese say, hehe) – there is far more to this than you might think.

I can give you examples of SUPER FIT people – triatheletes and PRO sports men that have been hospitalized … because they were “too stopped” up. Yes, ‘tis true my friend.
And a few emails ago, (blink and you’ll forget it, hehe) I spoke about a WONDER food that can aid your digestion and literally everything else more than ANY Other food out there – – and while I didn’t mention what it is – well – I believe you know now!
And it would BEHOOVE you to know that curd isn’t the entire story either … it’s PART of the equation.

While done right, this super food CAN cure a host of other digestive issues and indeed get your life back on track in more ways than one, hehe – – there is more to it than just shoveling bucketfuls of the damn thing down your system.

Do it wrong, and it won’t really benefit you – at least NOT in the way you want.

What do I mean?

Well, you 0 Excuses Ship members KNOW, of course – and given the number of people these days afflicted by this syndrome especially with global lokdwons etc, I might just reveal the secret – and then again, I might not.

Watch this space for MORE, my friend ….

And in the meantime, YES, physical exercise done right IS part of the equation – and we ain’t talking sitting on your ass pumping weight either.

Exercise done on your feet is key, for one – and while walking is the obvious choice which most of you know, what else, you ask?

Well, Hindu squats for one – or a special version of the Hindu squat that gets the system “moving” faster than anything else I know.

Believe me, I’ve tried it myself – and the first time I did, I was fortunate the throne was “reclining nearby” if I might say so, hehe.

Deep breathing exercises of the nature found in Corrugated Core (. There is a good reason I mention this to be a very good solution for digestive issues – IBS INCLUDED – on the sales page – and in the book itself.

Walking up hill – ah, but you know that.

Those are three exercises that will GET you going – and quick, my friend.

And for more – well – you’ll have to wait until I reveal the secret – – or jump aboard the ship, hehe.

Do so now!

Best,
Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Yes, constipation can lead to INCREASED WEIGHT GAIN – and MORE INCHES around your TUMMY. IT’s nigh obvious. Where else would it all “hide”, hehe? And if you’re finally convinced of this – go ahead and grab BOTH the 0 Excuses Fitness System – and Corrugated Core – right now – and be preapared to make digestive isues for YOU – a thing for the past!

PS #2 – I can’t figure out how to make the links clickable on the text – so until I DO – here is where you can get both the products above – https://www.0excusesfitness.com/products

P.S #2 – Yes, I know. Typos galore, and so be it!

Why “price shoppers” annoy the living BEJESUS out of me. . .
- And rightly so!

Oh boy. I seem to be in “fine fettle” as of late, hehe as ole Marc would put it in the “Dongguan employment” group (which was a topic in an email or so prior to this).

And although some of you might be classifying what I’m talking about as pure rants – or rants mixed in with useful info – or simply what Rahul thinks – NO HOLDS BARRED – todays email will be another one that strikes home – in no uncertain terms – for a LOT of you out there, my friend.

Long ago, well, not that long ago actually (2017 I believe it was) – – I put out a revamped version of Gorilla Grip – – and a couple of days after it was out, I made my first sale.

And then I noticed something which I really enjoyed – – although you might think I shouldn’t have, hehe.

It was a review (something I ask all readers to do – honest reviews – we love ‘em!) which was a “3 star” review.

“Ok, but you can get the same information for free elsewhere” was the title of the review, and the illuminary who wrote this went on to say that the exercises “while OK” could be “found on the Internet” – and that “the examples I stated didn’t mean they would work”.

There was more, but that was the sum and substance of it, and I’ll try and link to the review if I can, but here is my point – – and I believe I’ve made this before when readers from this list email me complaining about price etc.

First, if the information is indeed “freely available”, why not just go out there and GET IT for yourself? I’m certainly not running after you to invest in any of my products – – or even “exhorting you to”, hehe. Ain’t my place to do so anyway. I can only show you the ROAD – it’s up to YOU whether you follow it or not, my friend, and that’s as simple as it gets.

Second, why didn’t this person simply just do it and compile the information HIMSELF if what he was saying was indeed true.

Obviously because he was either too stupid to do so – or didn’t have the time to do it – or couldn’t do it.

Third, as those that have purchased my products KNOW, there is a degree of “brain picking” that goes into my books that you CANNOT find elsewhere.

Be it the secret tips I often provide in my books and newsletters (I should say “secret” hehe) or even the “little things” (remember, little hinges are what swing BIG doors) – or simply my own experiences – all of that, my friend, if I were to care to put a price tag on it – – or even ONE of those things – – is simply invaluable!

When I receive remarks such as the above – – or unsubcscribes from my list due to said reasons (or any other idiotic reason, really), I throw my hands up and CELEBRATE – – and why?

Because you’ve just made space for someone else – who DOES get it, my friend!

And more as well, but before I sign off, this sort of thing is NOT limited to fitness alone.

I recently had a client from India add me asking for green tea, and all the quotes etc associated with what he wanted.

I patiently took the time to explain to him what he should be selling (cardinal rule #1 right there – – you NEVER let a “provider” tell you what to sell, but in this case I had to, because the guy did literally NO market research of his own despite me asking him to).

Except, of course, price.

“Can I have the cheapest price?”

“Uh, but what exactly do you want?”

“Something that’s cheap”.

“Uh, but I don’t sell based upon that buddy. Maybe you’d be better off contacting someone else!”

“Oh no! I liked your sample (I sent him a sample or two) … and I want to order it”.

“Well, quality doesn’t come free my friend”.

“Can you give me rates for other types of tea?”

And you can guess how the rest of the conversation went, my friend.

So long story short – if there is anything that annoys – and simultaneously PLEASES me no end, hehe – it is those that are “price shoppers”.

And as for why – well – you be the judge!

Last, but NOT least, this doesn’t apply to those of you who have genuine reasons as to why you cannot invest in a product right now – – or whenever.

Gautam, a customer from India once emailed me a few years ago asking for a discount, as well as for me to work with him on “custom payment terms” (there was some problem with the Paypal account I was using not being able to accept payments in India – – or something to that effect).

And despite the fact it took him a month or so to follow through – – I answered ALL his questions – – and worked with him THROUGHOUT the entire process.

The intention counts, my friend – – and its easy to see who is genuinely interested – – and who isn’t!

And that my friend, is today’s “rant”. Let me know your thoughts – I’m all ears!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – Despite the “3 star review” on Gorilla Grip, it remains TILL date – my best selling product – – so much so that I’ve put an entire COMPILATION out on it. And if you’re interested in building the cast iron grip you’ve always wanted (and I bet you ARE!) – – well – – go HERE to do so – – https://0excusesfitness.com/gorilla-grip-the-compilation/

P.S #2 – Gautam’s reviews are mentioned both on our Facebook page (must follow!) – and our testimonials page – right here – go ahead and read it NOW!

A state of DENIAL
- ... and how to REVERSE it!

What I’m going to say is (like a few of my other missives as of late, and indeed over the years, hehe) come across as EXTREMELY jarring and “brutally honest” (well, that it is!) to those of you that are “politically correct – or easily offended – or a combo therein, or something to that effect.

If that’s you, either skip today’s email – or read it, and feel free to flame me thereafter, or up and unsubscribe, hehe.

I don’t mind either way. What I am about to say HAS TO BE SAID, and I’m going to say it NOW.

This has been bubbling on inside of me for a while, and though I’ve written about it before, now, and today in fact seems to be a PERFECT day to bring it up.

A couple of months ago, I was talking to a friend Charles – – a good friend – – about the state of the economy in China, and how it’s obvious that the cracks (which appeared a long time ago – and were being papered over and to an extent still are) – – have WIDENED.

It wouldn’t be so much of a stretch to say that the country is at a cross roads – as is the entire world, but for different and MORE reasons.

We were discussing the state of industry in general, and as I pulled out link after link to support my side of the argument he either ignored the links or claimed “they weren’t reliable”.

Now, bear in mind this person is an English teacher who has never really done any sort of real BUSINESS in his life. True, for a while he DID do his teaching as a “business of sorts”, and he did VERY WELL at it, but inexplicably, down the line, he failed to stick to it.

When times got tough, he disregarded any and all advice from yours truly – – basically threw away something he was doing – and doing WELL at that – – and ended up in a boat far worse to what he was in before if one were to be brutally honest.

Though Charles doesn’t know it (or if he paid attention to what I said back then, he may) – – that decision SADDENED me, as it would if any true friend were to just up and give up at the first hurdle. Hurdles are what it’s all about – – not smooth sailing as it had been for him for a while, and yet, when I brought this up …. You can guess the reaction! Hehe.

We were discussing how the tea industry in China is hurting, along with a lot of others (tea is non-essential – though it should be – but in the current market ….well, enough said!) and he wouldn’t believe me ,despite the fact that I have plenty of experience in this industry and he none.

Instead, the only “facts” he pulled out to support his claim were the following – – a tabloid piece from a leading tabloid in China – – which is about as reputable as the “Sun” is in the U.K., hehe.

And when I brought that up, he claimed I was trying to discredit a “reliable source”.

Huh? What about all the sources I BROUGHT up before?

Closer to the “now”, I was discussing the spread of the COVID-19 in China and the world with a lady the other day – a lady who was even more hell bent upon ignoring the facts placed in front of her (reliable articles) – -and instead parroting the official “all is well” line from the government, when all clearly isn’t well.

Now, bear in mind nationality, culture etc has nothing to do with this. The first person I mentioned is American, and the second is Chinese, and yet … they BOTH have their heads stuck in the sand on a vast, vast number of issues.

In fact, this lady went so far as to accuse me of “hating China” because I pointed out (with proof!) that the “all is well” line the government is putting out there is neither accurate – NOR is it FACT – – and lest you think this is “anti-China view”, well, think AGAIN.

It’s well known that I’ve spent my entire adult life, or close to it, anyway in China.

It’s also very well known that most of my fitness products, and indeed my OTHER writing features China, and Chinese people.

And last, but not least, it IS well known that a large swathe of the Chinese public themselves KNOWS that the “battle is far from won, if at all” – – and recent events across the mainland are prime EVIDENCE of this.

Am I saying lockdowns aren’t necessary?

Well, YES. In fact, they are COUNTER PRODUCTIVE.

YES, I said that!

Let me ask you this question, my friend – what exactly have lockdowns accomplished all over the globe?

When it boils right down to it – – the following (feel free to add on MORE)

Mass PANIC.

MASS BUYING.

Mass “conspiracy theory syndrome”

A state of FEAR (and brainwashing in several countries – I’ll write about that soon too!)

Economies teetering on the brink of collapse (Donald Trump once said that lockdowns are the quickest way to ruin a country (paraphrasing) – – and other than yours truly, I’m yet to see anyone that has come out and said this publicly. Kudos!)

All in all, nothing constructive. The death tolls go up by the day, and lest you think lockdowns are a SOLUTION – think again. The recent “second wave” of infections will tell you otherwise (if you actually choose to believe REAL news!).

The Universe spares no-one – – either reward or punishment. Try as you might, you CANNOT escape the wrath – or even the LARGESS of the Universe.

You reap what you sow – – and I truly do believe that the world as a whole has sown UNDESIRABLE seeds for way too long, and now, the turning point is here. Where we turn as a globe – – now that’s a good question!

An interesting thing to bring up at this point too, would be that the Universe gives us exactly what we WANT – except not perhaps “how” and “when”.

Before the current mess, we had people CHOOSING TO BARRICADE themselves in their homes, and stay on social media all day, did we not?

Now that it is being “forced” – – everyone is complaining.

Poetic justice, anyone????

Yet another example of living in a state of denial is the vast majority of English teacher in China.

Most of these people HATE the “monkey jobs” (which is essentially, and unfortunately what teaching English in China boils down to as opposed to “real teaching”), but continue to do it – – DESPITE having other options.

Often times, I’ve pointed out (off the bat) at least five different things these people could do that they LOVE to do – and WANT To do – to improve their lives.

And on every single occasion, there has been an excuse NOT to do it.

Why?

Well, because it requires CHANGE – – and as I was discussing with a friend on Facebook today, UNCOMFORTABLE change – – to get to where they would want to be.

And as far as uncomfortable changes are concerned, I should know, hehe. So much so that I should probably patent the term, given how things have panned out for me over my life!

And yet – would I take any of it back?

NO WAY, Jose.

All the uncomfortable changes were literally PROPELLING me towards my TRUE desires – something which most people are terrified of at a subconscious level and don’t even realize it. Yes, there are people out there SCARED of actually succeeding!

And back to denial – – there are some that claim the U.S., for one, pretty much the only large country that has NOT and SHOULD NOT impose country wide curfews change it’s decentralized structure of government.

Huh?? Change something that has been working for years?? Why?

For a lockdown that isn’t even the SOLUTION to the issue?

No thank you, my friend. Personally, me, I’d rather have it the way it is NOW as opposed to someone else making the decisions for me and then FORCING said decisions upon me.

Ask most people if they REALLY think lockdowns are a magic bullet, and you might be surprised to hear their REAL answers, and the “why’s”.

And yet, most people continue to live in a state of denial, and this is people across the GLOBE basically, not just in any one country.

Fitness wise, how does any of this matter?

Well, it does my friend. The same thing applies.

Those that are FAT – – and yes, you know who you are – – look at yourself the mirror and secretly wish to lose the excess flabbage – – but don’t have the guts to admit it takes CHANGE – – and a DIFFERENT approach to fitness than what you have been doing thus far.

Even if these people are shown PROOF, they’ll respond with garbage like “bodyweight exercises don’t work” or “I’m a big guy! I’m strong, not fat!”

Yeah. Right … especially to the last one, hehe. Actually, to BOTH.

Those that want to do pull-ups will “settle for less”.

“Oh, that’s OK. Others can’t do it either …. “

I’m a big guy, and that’s why I can’t do pull-ups!

And strangely enough or perhaps not this ROT- and that is what it IS – utter ROT- in terms of THINKING – is something that is SPREADING globally.

People are increasingly living in a state of denial as the Universe forces them into “corners” – – MOST of them, if not all, of their OWN choosing.

The thing is though – it’s EASY to break out of the rut – – and go for it – – both fitness wise and life wise, if you only MAKE UP YOUR MIND TO DO IT!

And as I asked you an an immensely popular (or unpopular, depending upon how you look at it) missive a while back – – which one are you? Which side of the fence are YOU ON?

Only you can answer that question, my friend – – and on that note, I’m out! I’ll be back soon!

Best,

Rahul Mookerjee

P.S. – AM I saying there is NOT a problem? Sure there is – and while MEASURES need to be taken to contain the COVID-19, the best thing to do is ALSO to a) make sure your immune system is healthy b) practice BASIC SANITATION and c) avoid direct social contact as far as possible. And d) let things take it’s course. It may sound terrible to say (d), but survival of the fittest is NOT a new theory, my friend. And political correctness is NOT how the Universe functions!

P.S #2 – Good news is this, that a) which is the most important can EASILY be accomplished if on the right programs. But if you’re currently in a state of “Oh, we are on lockdown! It’s natural we’re gaining weight” – – well, then, you might as well click away NOW, my friend. No sympathy from me either … but for those of you that GET it – well – I’m here for you – – eager to “serve” as always, hehe.

P.P.S – – Rise UP – as a GLOBE!
